Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Aimbridge Hospitality. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for assisting with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment as assigned. This includes participating in the preventative maintenance program, handling guest requests, and performing trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and HVAC.

Your responsibilities will also include changing out light bulbs, performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms, ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and HVAC systems. Additionally, you will perform plumbing repair, laundry equipment repair, and preventative maintenance on all exhaust fans and supply. You will monitor energy conservation and repair vacuum cleaners and other small equipment upon request.

You will have access to back-of-house areas of the hotel and sensitive information. You will interact with guests and colleagues, and have unsupervised contact with guests. You will also have access and control to sensitive areas in the hotel premises, including the Hotel Safe, Master Keys, and secured file cabinets.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment

  • Perform trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and HVAC
  • Change out light bulbs and perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms
  • Perform plumbing repair, laundry equipment repair, and preventative maintenance on all exhaust fans and supply
Requirements
  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
  • Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state
  • Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record)
