Responsibilities:


We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Be part of a collaborative care team that prioritizes patient well-being, with no night shifts, weekends, or recognized holidays required.

About Your Role:


As a Medical Assistant, you will collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver care and support to patients under their guidance.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass the following tasks:

1. Welcoming and preparing patients for their appointments by recording vital signs and relevant health information, including height, weight, allergies, current medications, and presenting concerns.

2. Assisting with diagnostic evaluations and clinical procedures, including blood draws and administering injections.

3. Administering medications and vaccinations as prescribed.

4. Managing patient flow to ensure adequate time for education and discussion with patients and their families.

5. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of instruments, equipment, and patient care areas.

6. Scheduling patient appointments and performing administrative tasks as necessary.

7. Actively engaging in continuing education and participating in required meetings and committees as needed.


May also perform medical scribe duties under the supervision of the attending provider in accordance with established policies.

Education/Work Experience Requirements


A High School Diploma (or GED equivalent) and completion of a Medical Assistant certification program from an accredited institution or validation of equivalent military training (e.g., Hospital Corpsman) demonstrating the necessary knowledge and skills.

Preferred: One year of experience working as a Medical Assistant.

Licensure/Certification

Current certification as a Medical Assistant-Certified in the State of Washington.

Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.

If assigned to a float pool, a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various locations may be required.
