- Procedure Instructions: Provide detailed instructions regarding dietary restrictions, arrival times, and facility information pertinent to the procedure.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of patient interactions and assessments in accordance with facility protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all relevant policies and guidelines to uphold patient safety standards.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program.
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant in Washington State.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Previous experience in outpatient, special procedures, or gastroenterology settings preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on compassionate patient interaction.
- Proficient in electronic medical record data entry.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform administrative duties, including prolonged periods of sitting and using computers. Occasional travel may be required for coverage purposes. Candidates must ensure a distraction-free home work environment and meet internet connection requirements.
