Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled HVAC Controls Engineer to join our team at Daikin. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing HVAC control systems that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design HVAC control systems, including the selection of appropriate control strategies and components.
- Lead in developing project bill of materials and estimating projects.
- Create submittal documents with detailed controls system schematics, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operation.
- Develop and implement control algorithms and sequences.
- Assist Team Leaders and Technicians to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide technical support to installation and service teams during the commissioning and startup of HVAC controls systems.
- Ensure all controls systems comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in HVAC controls technologies and industry best practices.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure high standards of workmanship.
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering practical solutions that exceed client needs and expectations.
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding environment.
- Working knowledge using Microsoft 365 suite, Visio, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Niagra, and Reflow.
