Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

High Tide Oil Company, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented professional to maintain vendor payable information.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage office administrative tasks, including filing, printing, and reporting.
  • Process financial and accounting practices, including profit and loss reports.
  • Work closely with the Office Manager to manage client records.
  • Maintain accurate records of all payments.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
  • Investigate AP revenue opportunities, such as early payment programs and supply chain finance.
  • Analyze accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Effective and professional communication skills, including active listening.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of bank reconciliation.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy, with outstanding data entry skills.
  • Self-motivation and ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proven knowledge of accounting industry-leading software, with QuickBooks experience a plus.
