Montessori Infant Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Montessori Infant Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Montessori Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters the cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement lesson plans that align with Montessori principles and promote independence, self-motivation, and self-directed learning.
- Establish a safe and healthy environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and physical activity.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with infants, parents, and colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with parents through regular updates, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in Montessori education.
Requirements:
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits.
- Earned a Bachelor's Degree (any subject).
- Experience working with children ages 0-3 in a group setting such as daycare, aftercare, or nursery.
- Familiarity with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori and/or open to learning more.
