Position Overview:
The Cyber Range Engineer is responsible for conducting assessments and evaluations to uncover vulnerabilities and potential threat pathways within systems and networks. This role involves the development of exploits and engineering of attack strategies. Utilize advanced consulting skills, extensive technical knowledge, and comprehensive industry insights to devise innovative solutions for intricate challenges. Operate with minimal supervision while mentoring and guiding team members.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and VMware technologies.
- Proficiency in Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, network configurations, and operational utilities, including Domain Controllers, Exchange Servers, and DNS Servers.
- Experience with various operating systems, particularly Windows and Linux.
- Knowledge of networking and virtualization concepts.
- Possession of a Secret clearance.
- High School diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Capability to automate processes through the creation and deployment of custom scripts, shellcode, or applications.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems.
- Certifications such as GREM, GCFA, GCTI, CEH, or CISSP.
- Security+ Certification.
Clearance Requirements:
Candidates selected for this position will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
