Job Title: RN - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Night Shift

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a local hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This is a contract position with a commitment of 36 hours per week.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of acute care experience in a hospital setting within the PCU specialty. They will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia
  • Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience in a hospital setting within the PCU specialty
  • Appropriate certifications as required for the specific position
  • Ability to work every other weekend
  • Commitment of 36 hours per week
