Job Title: RN - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Night Shift

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a local hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This is a contract position with a reputable healthcare organization.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PCU environment. This is a night shift position, requiring flexibility and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the PCU
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and report patient status to the healthcare team
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current State Nursing License
  • Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in a hospital setting
  • Appropriate certifications as required for specific position
  • Degree from an accredited school of nursing
