Your Responsibilities

As a Product Support Process Engineer, you will:

  • Create and maintain detailed work instructions and process documentation.
  • Design, procure, validate, and sustain tooling and testing equipment.
  • Ensure tooling equivalency and maintain job aids and other essential documentation.
  • Develop specialized repair processes beyond standard documentation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action investigations for customer products.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to devise immediate solutions to emerging issues.
  • Implement LEAN and 6S methodologies to enhance process efficiency.
  • Undertake additional engineering tasks as required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong mechanical aptitude with at least 5 years of experience in hydraulic systems, components, and testing equipment.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the aviation sector is preferred.
  • Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings and hydraulic schematics, including specifications from Boeing, Airbus, and military standards.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
  • Background in designing mechanical or electro-mechanical tooling and testing equipment.
  • Experience managing small to mid-sized projects effectively.
  • Technical report writing experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with LabVIEW software programming is a plus.
  • Experience in 3D modeling, preferably with Siemens NX or SolidWorks.
  • Knowledge of LEAN and 6S manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook).
