Position - Systems Integration Engineer

We are in search of driven engineers eager to contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge techniques and frameworks for wearable technology as part of a significant research and product development initiative supported by a national health organization. This opportunity is compensated and may facilitate the acquisition of academic credits.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage in the integration of systems utilizing ARM architecture, MEMS sensors, and operating on an embedded OS framework (Linux/Android). A passion for teamwork and the capability to tackle intriguing and intricate challenges is essential.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proactive individual with a proven track record in developing robust ARM-based hardware solutions.
  • Proficient programming abilities in embedded Linux and/or Android environments.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB-level systems, hardware, and software in a research and development context.
  • Capacity to operate independently and collaboratively, with or without oversight.

Highly Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with GPS/GSM tracking technologies.
  • Familiarity with wireless communication stacks (LTE).
  • Development of machine learning algorithms.
  • Knowledge of sensors, particularly accelerometers, gyroscopes, and pulse-oximetry.
  • Experience with voice-driven conversational interfaces.
  • Proficiency with Qualcomm processors and modems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
