Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Reservationist to join our team at Oyster Point Hotel. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering Calls: Respond promptly to all incoming calls, transferring them to the correct extension or resolving the issue efficiently.
  • Reservation Management: Make, change, and cancel reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a polite and professional manner, addressing their inquiries and requests in a timely and courteous fashion.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain the banquet lead sheet, stay informed about hotel rates and specials, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Flexibility: Demonstrate a self-starting personality with an even disposition, able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Technical Skills: Possess basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Customer Service: Provide superior customer service and interpersonal skills, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
