Night Auditor

At Oyster Point Hotel, we are seeking a skilled Night Auditor to join our Front Desk team. As a Night Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our overnight front desk, providing exceptional guest service, and maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

• Ensure a warm and professional welcome for all guests and visitors, treating each individual with respect and courtesy.
• Provide exceptional guest service at the Front Desk, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
• Review arrivals and requests, honoring guest preferences whenever possible.
• Process guest payments and assist with billing inquiries, providing clear and concise information.
• Coordinate with security, housekeeping, and engineering staff to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues.
• Act as a central source of information for hotel, event, and dining guests, providing accurate and timely information.
• Use proper telephone and reservation etiquette, describing our hotel, quoting rates, and capturing reservations.
• Review the Group Resume, ensuring accuracy and completeness of routing, comments, and room assignments.
• Perform nightly audits of hotel and outlet revenue, adhering to existing procedures.
• Conduct daily audits of housekeeping reports and occupancy reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare daily balance sheets of revenue and settlement accounts, generating and distributing audit reports as needed.
• Assemble nightly audit packets, summarizing transactions and revenue throughout the day.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, performing additional duties as requested by the Front Office Manager.

Requirements:

• Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and staff.
• Willingness and ability to work overnight hours, including weekends and holidays, with fixed shift hours from 11pm to 7am.
• Ability to sit, kneel, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects, with the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts and luggage weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
