Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - In-House SNF Position

Job Summary:

AristaCare at Manchester is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing high-quality patient care in our In-House Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services to ensure the highest degree of quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Speech Language Pathology Services: Provide Speech Language Pathology services to patients in accordance with established standards of practice, company procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Documentation and Billing: Adhere to company procedures regarding documentation and billing of Speech Language Pathology services.
  • Resident Evaluation and Treatment Planning: Conduct timely screening of residents to determine the need for intervention/treatment, evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation, and develop treatment plans by establishing short and long-term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to patients, families/responsible parties, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Continuing Education and Professional Development: Maintain current licensure and certification through ongoing continuing education and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Active Speech Language Pathologist license in state(s) of practice.
