We are seeking a compassionate Registered Substance Use Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our treatment team, you will be responsible for assisting patients through medically assisted treatments and offering techniques for handling opioid use. You will conduct individual sessions and group sessions to assist with crisis management and coping strategies, and evaluate patient progress during counseling and collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other counselors to assist the patient's achieving improved outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population, and will be able to provide individual and group counseling services, direct service hours at regularly scheduled intervals, and coordinate all services throughout treatment. The candidate will also be responsible for completing bio-psychosocial assessments, facilitating, establishing, and reviewing with each patient the initial treatment plan, developing aftercare plans and discharge plans, and ensuring efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients.
We offer a competitive salary range of $24.23 to $25.07 an hour, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K match, medical, dental, vision insurance, accident injury, hospital indemnity, and critical illness plans, company-paid short and long-term disability, company-paid basic life insurance, paid time off, bereavement leave, flexible sick time, and an employee referral program.
