Job Summary

As a key member of the Sentara Princess Anne Hospital team, the Environmental Service Technician III is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hospital floors. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely with various cleaning equipment and chemicals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping or environmental services and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of hospital floors, including mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping, and polishing.
  • Use various cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Perform cross-training to Environmental Services Technician I competencies as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of housekeeping or environmental services experience in lieu of high school education.
  • 6 months of floor tech experience.
  • Preferred: previous experience in healthcare or hospitality.
