Job Title: Dual Credit Lecturer or Adjunct Instructor in Art Appreciation

Sul Ross State University is seeking a qualified adjunct/part-time instructor to teach dual credit students enrolled in freshman- and sophomore-level university courses in Art Appreciation.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach online, synchronous courses at a variety of days and times
  • Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
  • Use a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
  • Evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and inform students in a timely manner of their progress
  • Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Art or a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Art
  • Classroom teaching experience
  • Preferred: PhD and prior University teaching experience, Blackboard experience
