Job Title:

Adjunct Instructor of English for Faculty Pool

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to teach English courses at our university. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in English and prior teaching experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach English courses at various times and locations
  • Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
  • Use a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
  • Evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and inform students in a timely manner of their progress
  • Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
Requirements:
  • Masters of Arts in English
  • Prior University teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Blackboard experience
