As an Aviation Operations Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with the Lead Pilot to assist in various activities that facilitate flight testing operations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling activities.
  • Monitor aircrew qualifications, currency, and training advancements.
  • Keep detailed training records for all pilots within the organization.
  • Prepare and disseminate monthly performance reports.
  • Arrange appointments for flight crew members (e.g., medical evaluations, altitude chamber sessions).
  • Support the execution of daily flight schedules, including pre-flight planning, weather assessments, airspace coordination, real-time weather and aircraft monitoring during missions, and post-flight support.
  • Engage in process audits and ensure meticulous record-keeping.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including military and regulatory bodies.
  • Exhibit a strong attention to detail.

Basic Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with aircrew currency and training standards.
  • Experience with flight operations databases such as Flight Operations Software (FOS) or similar systems.
  • Possession of an Interim Secret or higher security clearance.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with military airspace and resource scheduling.
  • Willingness to travel and possess a valid passport.

Work Schedule Flexibility

Compensation Overview

Salary Range:


The annual base salary range for this position in certain states is $67,200 - $128,900. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.

Lockheed Martin considers various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience, education, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.

This position is eligible for an incentive plan.
