Job Title: Ground Support Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Ground Support Mechanic to support our Flight Operations facilities in Adelanto and Palmdale, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, servicing, operating, and troubleshooting ground support equipment (GSE) and aviation fueling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test GSE and aviation fueling equipment to determine serviceability and proper operation.
  • Service, repair, maintain, and operate GSE as required.
  • Prepare GSE for storage and transportation.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and repair or replace malfunctioning accessories and components.
  • Maintain and update various documents, records, databases, and electronic systems.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Typically requires education or formal training equivalent to the completion of a two-year trade school or certification program in a related discipline and one or more years of experience as a GSE mechanic.
  • Must demonstrate a general understanding of GSE equipment, including aviation fueling equipment, fuel quality practices, and concepts.
  • Must be customer-focused and possess good organizational, analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer operations and applications is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with hazmat and tanker endorsements is highly desirable.
