Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists with various procedures, including x-rays, impressions, and restorations
  • Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients
  • Manage patient records, scheduling, and communication
  • Collaborate with the dental team to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office workflow
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required by state dental practice act)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in a dental setting
  • Dentrix or other dental software experience
  • Dental assisting school certification
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically
