Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Student Boarding and Disembarking: Ensure students safely enter and exit the bus.
  • Monitor Student Conduct: Supervise students to maintain safety and minimize disruptions.
  • Support Students with Special Needs: Provide assistance to students with disabilities or special requirements.
  • Conduct Safety Inspections: Verify that safety equipment is operational and perform regular checks.
  • Handle Emergencies: Respond to emergencies and administer first aid as necessary.
  • Communicate Effectively: Relay important information to parents and school personnel.
  • Maintain Bus Cleanliness: Ensure the bus remains clean and organized.
  • Adhere to Protocols: Follow school and transportation guidelines diligently.
  • Assist with Route Management: Help navigate and ensure proper student drop-off and pick-up.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must possess a GED or High School diploma.
  • CDL B License is preferred (Paid Training available for new drivers).
  • School Bus and Passenger Endorsements are preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs to assist passengers as needed.
