Position Summary:
We are currently in search of a skilled Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanic to join our workforce. The primary duties will be performed in a modern shop environment, with occasional travel required to various project sites for equipment service and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the shop foreman to conduct maintenance and repairs on construction machinery and company vehicles.
- Perform routine checks and replace essential components such as fluids, hoses, belts, starters, and alternators as necessary.
- Execute welding and cutting tasks when required, with experience in these areas being advantageous.
- Repair and replace electronic devices, wiring harnesses, trailer lights, and braking systems.
- Diagnose issues and troubleshoot equipment failures effectively.
Equipment Expertise:
Hands-on experience with various machinery, including but not limited to:
- Skid loaders
- Wheel loaders
- Excavators
- Cranes
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, and have the ability to follow instructions accurately. Key attributes include:
- Basic knowledge of machinery and tools
- Welding skills and torch operation are beneficial
- A clean and organized work environment is essential
- A valid CDL is a plus, and having personal tools is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation:
