We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Leader/Defense Senior Intelligence Leader to serve as the Deputy Chief of Contracting /Deputy Head of the Contracting Activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Head of the Contracting Activity to lead the planning, execution, and administration of contracts and agreements to enable the Agency's mission.
  • Lead Contracting professionals working around the globe to ensure consistency in acquisition practices/strategies, training, compliance with federal and state regulations, policies, etc.
  • Contribute to strategy development and implementation for all NSA procurements.
  • Approve procurement decisions and documentation as necessary, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations to enable successful mission execution.
  • Work closely with partners throughout NSA, the Intelligence Community, DoD, and Industry to facilitate NSA's success.
Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of principles of Federal contract law and contract formation, source selection procedures, government contract administration, and talent management.
  • Substantive (>10 years) contracting experience and expertise, as well as knowledge of the entire acquisition process.
  • Proven, effective, highly motivated leader, with excellent interpersonal skills, professional judgment, business acumen, and a proven ability to work well across organizational boundaries.
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in a high-tempo, dynamic organization, while managing a myriad of tasks with challenging deadlines.
