Job Summary

Lenox Hill Radiology is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a DEXA Specialist. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality DEXA and diagnostic radiographic services on patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality DEXA and diagnostic radiographic services on patients, within the legal scope of licensure.
  • Monitor patients' well-being during exams and recognize patient discomfort or medical problems, taking appropriate action.
  • Evaluate radiographs and/or DEXA scans for technical quality.
  • Respond to physician questions regarding exams.
  • Understand and use the scales, field of view, gain, voltage, amps, and other adjustments and factors on the equipment to produce high-quality images and/or DEXA scans.
Requirements
  • Current ARRT (R) certification preferred and potentially DEXA license depending on location.
  • Experience working in a high-volume setting.
  • Well-seasoned with 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • BLS/CPR certification.
Benefits
  • Competitive pay rate: $45.00 per hour.
  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm shift.
  • $7,500.00 sign-on bonus.
