About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Technician to join our team at ABM Industries. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas, including floors, furniture, and fixtures.
- Clean and maintain carpets and hard surface floors by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
- Dust and polish furniture, pictures, ventilation, lights, and blinds to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- Empty wastebaskets and clean windows and restrooms to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Perform other cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned to ensure the overall cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in cleaning and maintenance preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies.
