Overview: We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee our food service operations at our summer camp. This role is crucial in ensuring that our campers receive nutritious and enjoyable meals throughout their time at camp.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve snacks and lunches while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
  • Manage food inventory and supplies, ensuring timely ordering and restocking.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in food handling and preparation.
  • Engage with campers and staff, fostering a friendly and inclusive environment.

Additional Duties:

  • Supervise campers during meal times and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with camp policies and procedures.
  • Document any incidents or concerns regarding camper safety and well-being.
  • Monitor camper dietary restrictions and allergies, ensuring their needs are met.

Candidate Profile:

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a camp or educational setting.
  • First Aid and CPR certification required prior to starting.
  • ServeSafe Food Handler Certification is a plus, and training will be provided if necessary.
