Host/Busser/Food Runner

At McMenamins, we're looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Host/Busser/Food Runner to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

• Greet and seat customers in a high-volume environment, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Answer phones, direct customers to assigned or preferred seating, and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Expedite and deliver food from the kitchen to patrons in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Help clear, clean, and set tables, restock supplies, and perform general cleaning duties as needed.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a current food handlers card.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume environment.
• Safely lift and carry heavy objects with a hand truck or assistance if necessary.
• Work for long periods on feet, including frequent walking, stair climbing, and working outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Perform repetitive movements, such as pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and stooping.
• Ability to communicate clearly and positively with coworkers, managers, vendors, and customers.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a high-volume, deadline-oriented work environment.
