Responsibilities
  • Administer IV medications and fluids to patients as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients for signs of adverse reactions or complications
  • Conduct regular assessments to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of IV therapy
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on IV therapy and related topics
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse
  • Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Current PICC certification
  • 2-3 years of experience in a specialty unit, with 2-3 years of IV therapy and PICC experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
