Job Title: Avionics Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team at Talent Shark, LLC. As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on aircraft electronics systems, including troubleshooting and repairing avionics equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems using aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and equipment manufacturer's installation manuals.
  • Read and understand wiring diagrams and other technical installation data.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Provide avionics support to the team.
  • Inspect, repair, and service maintenance items during scheduled maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

  • A&P certificate holder required.
  • 2+ years of recent experience in general aviation avionics preferred.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and solid knowledge of aircraft mechanical and electrical system functions.
  • Experience with Honeywell and Garmin Avionics products preferred.
  • Sufficient experience to obtain a Repairman's Certificate.
  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations and inspection procedures.
  • Ability to pass a DOT FAA pre-employment drug screen and physical.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Communicate effectively, both oral and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Physical activity requires walking, climbing, bending, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and stooping.
