Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and billing information.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in primary care.
- Participate in on-call duties and provide after-hours coverage as needed.
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including HIPAA.
Requirements:
- Current certification and licensure in the state of New York.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Proficiency in MEDENT or similar electronic medical record (EMR) software.
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detailed-oriented and able to work accurately under pressure.
