Job Summary:

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to provide high-quality psychiatric care to students at educational institutions in Olean, New York.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations for students.
  • Offer expert consultation to clients and participating districts.
  • Advise parents, primary care physicians, and school districts on students' psychiatric needs.
  • Deliver mental health professional development services.
  • Provide written reports with evaluation results and recommendations.
  • Conduct psychological or lab testing as needed.
  • Consult with students and their other medical providers.
  • Offer emergency consultations.
  • Provide educational or training sessions.
  • Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings.
  • Develop and coordinate Tele-psychiatry programs.
  • Other duties as assigned by District.

Requirements:

  • Current NY License
  • BE/BC
Benefits:

  • $225/hour rate
  • Contract length: 1 year
  • On-site and Tele-psychiatry coverage
