Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Schweiger Dermatology Group. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to General Managers, Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Medical Assistants/LPNs.

This is a full-time position that requires experience in dermatology and proficiency in EMR software and patient scheduling systems. You must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as excellent patient relation and customer services skills. A medical assistant certification is strongly encouraged.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on location and experience.

About the Role

This role provides administrative support to General Managers, Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Medical Assistants/LPNs by way of supervision and staff development to provide a professional and effective medical operation. Dermatology experience is required.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work closely with management to execute all new protocols and assist with training needs. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all assigned Medical Assistants/LPNs follow company policies and protocols.

Other duties may include scanning consumables and retail products, placing orders via expense protocol, maintaining an adequate number of supplies, and assisting with daily tasks such as specimen logbooks and lab tracker.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist Office Management in successfully running the day-to-day clinical operations of their respective location.
  2. Work closely with management to execute all new protocols and assist with training needs.
  3. Ensure that all assigned Medical Assistants/LPNs follow company policies and protocols.
  4. Scan all consumables and retail products to assist Office Management with always maintaining an adequate number.
Qualifications
  • Dermatology Experience Required
  • Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
  • Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent patient relation and customer services skills.
