Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Safety Manager to join our team at Recology. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing occupational safety and health programs, fleet safety programs, and Drug and Alcohol Abuse Policy for multiple subsidiary companies.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety strategies to achieve safety goals and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough investigations of accidents and analyze reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Provide safety training and education to employees to ensure they have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their jobs safely.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Monitor and analyze workers' compensation and liability claims to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in occupational safety program management.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, training techniques, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification preferred.
- Valid Driver's License required.

- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
