Job Summary

Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct focused assessments and report changes to licensed healthcare providers.
  • Participate in the development and modification of patient health plans of care.
  • Implement patient care interventions delegated, ordered, or prescribed by licensed healthcare providers.
  • Assign and monitor nursing tasks or activities delegated to certified medical assistants or unlicensed personnel.
  • Provide safe and effective care, patient advocacy, and assistance with patient evaluation to interventions and collaboration and communication with healthcare team members.
  • Provide health care information to patients and review education materials.
  • Provide input for policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Current LPN Minnesota state license, current Medical Assistant certification or registration required.
  • Experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • BLS certification to be completed within two months of employment.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, vision, mission, and values.
  • Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.
