Key Responsibilities:
The Lead Nutrition Specialist will act as the primary liaison for community health workers and qualified nutritionists delivering services to WIC participants. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the flow of clients and providing mentorship to team members.
- Ensuring effective nutrition counseling is delivered to participants.
- Planning, directing, and reviewing the work of dietitians and support staff.
- Conducting evaluations and documenting employee performance regularly.
- Collaborating with medical professionals to develop tailored dietary plans.
- Providing expert consultation on complex nutrition cases.
- Leading quality improvement initiatives related to nutrition standards.
- Engaging with community groups to promote healthy eating and nutrition awareness.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

- Registration or eligibility for registration as a Dietitian.
- Two years of professional experience in public health nutrition programs.
- Strong supervisory skills and experience in managing a team.
