Job Summary:

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Tech - First Assist to join a reputable hospital in South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Surgical First Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a surgeon to facilitate safe and effective surgical procedures. Your duties will include preparing the operating room environment, ensuring equipment functions properly, and assisting with surgical techniques. You will also be responsible for maintaining an assigned surgeon's preferences and serving as a resource for other staff members.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess extensive knowledge of surgical procedures and a strong understanding of perioperative processes. You will also need to be able to work flexible schedules and assist with positioning and prepping patients according to department standards.

Qualifications:

A graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program is required, along with 5 years of related experience and proficiency in endo-vein harvesting. An ability to teach others the endo-vein harvesting procedure is preferred. You will also need to complete 20 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) per year.
