About the Role:
HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer - Echo Tech to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality cardiac ultrasound exams to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform adult and pediatric trans-thoracic echocardiograms, trans-esophageal echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms
- Utilize advanced ultrasound instruments to produce clinically useful diagnostic information
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac ultrasound technology and techniques
Requirements:
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in sonography/ultrasound is preferred
