Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join our dynamic team at a leading Private Equity Fund Administration Firm. This role involves delivering comprehensive accounting services, including the preparation and processing of financial transactions and statements, along with supporting schedules and work papers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough examinations and analyses of accounting records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting standards.
  • Review work papers, prepare communication letters regarding calls and distributions, calculate carried interest, and allocate profits and losses in accordance with the Fund Governing Agreement, including special allocations for specific Partners.
  • Prepare Consolidated Financial Statements, complete with necessary footnotes.
  • Analyze investment documentation and establish investment structures, including holding companies, AIVs, and blockers.
  • Calculate current and deferred tax expenses/benefits along with related deferred tax assets/liabilities.
  • Provide training for new hires and assist in the transition and setup of new funds.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Proficient understanding of consolidations involving non-controlling interests.
  • Solid knowledge of realized and unrealized waterfall allocations.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a private equity fund accounting role.
Compensation:
The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $115,000, complemented by a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the candidate's experience level.

Work Arrangement:
All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employees are required to follow a hybrid work schedule, which includes two days in the office and three days working remotely.
