Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at PAGNY. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities- Review exam orders and consult with radiologists to schedule patients and arrange for transportation as needed.
- Identify patient information and document all relevant details in the RIS and on images (PACS).
- Prepare patients for radiological procedures, ensuring proper protection from infectious diseases and materials.
- Perform general diagnostic imaging and routine examinations in CT and Angiography.
- Assist in maintaining equipment, supplies, and materials, and report any malfunctions or defects.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in continuing education activities to maintain and develop job-related skills.
- Possession of a current valid license as a General Radiological Technologist issued by the State of New York.
- A minimum of two years of experience as a Radiologist.
- Current membership in the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
