Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.

Responsibilities
  • Review exam orders, consult with radiologists, and schedule patients for radiological procedures.
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures, ensuring proper protection and safety.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT and angiography scans.
  • Assist in maintaining radiographic imaging equipment, immobilization devices, and other necessary accessories.
  • Enter data, maintain documents, and logs as required by department QA guidelines and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure adequate stocks of supplies and materials needed for radiological procedures.
  • Report any unexpected patient incidents and maintain radiation safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by supervisory or administrative staff.
Requirements
  • Possession of a current valid license as a General Radiological Technologist issued by the State of New York.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current membership in the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
