**Job Summary**

The Chief Accounting Manager plays a crucial role in the success of our company by overseeing all accounting activities and ensuring complete and accurate financial reporting.

This position is responsible for managing the accounting group, designing and implementing internal controls over financial reporting, and providing accounting support to other departments within the company.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with General Ledger accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounting group and ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.

  • Design and implement internal controls over financial reporting to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Provide accounting support to other departments, including preparing financial statements and reports.

  • Collaborate with external auditors and regulators to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

  • 4-6 years of General Ledger accounting experience, preferably in a utility company.

  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
