Job Overview:

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategy and development of critical applications at Dayton Freight, a leading regional LTL carrier in the Midwest. As a Senior React Developer Hybrid, you will take ownership of the design, implementation, integration, and deployment of strategies, working across teams to drive innovation and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and integrate software solutions to drive business growth and innovation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy critical applications
• Take ownership of the design and implementation of strategies to drive business outcomes
• Mentor, coach, and lead technical team members to drive technical excellence

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related discipline with an information technology focus (4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
• 5 or more years of experience with building web applications using React, Typescript, and Linux
• Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps, and/or GitHub Enterprise
• Demonstrated experience working in modern software engineering and product development methodologies, including Agile
• Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent communication and the ability to collaborate and work well with others
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to design pragmatic solutions
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
