We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Perform basic medical procedures, such as taking blood samples and administering medications
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility
- Maintain patient charts and records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of practice
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification
- 1+ years of previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Ability to stand for long periods and walk frequently
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
