Job Title: Medical Care Specialist
The Regional West Medical Center seeks a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor the physical, emotional, and educational needs of patients
- Administer medications, including IV therapy and blood products
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Monitor and interpret vital signs
- Document patient care in the medical record
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care
Requirements:
- Current RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Med-Surg RN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $2186.00 per week, paid by TLC Nursing Associates, Inc.
