Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Critical Care Flight Nurse to join our team at Intermountain Health.

The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, the ability to work independently in high-pressure environments, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide critical care to critically ill patients during air and ground transport
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Evaluate patient response to interventions and revise plan of care as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Current RN license in state of practice
  • Advanced certification (CCRN, CFRN, CNPT, CEN, or CTRN)
  • Three years of Critical Care/Emergency Department or Labor and Delivery experience

Work Environment:

  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent changes in priority and urgency
  • Occasional exposure to noise, vibration, and dehydrating environment of an aircraft or ground ambulance
  • Must be able to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
