Job Summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Specialist to join our team. As an NDT Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing to ensure the quality and integrity of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Conduct tests to detect discontinuities (defects) using various NDT methods, including radiography, ultrasonic testing, and magnetic particle testing.
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications and evaluate results to ensure compliance.
  • Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters, and visual indicators to identify defects and anomalies.
  • Organize and report test results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Perform specialized inspections and may instruct and supervise others as needed.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college preferred.
  • Certified Level II RT, MT, PT, UT, and CR.
  • Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections.
  • Knowledge of NDT equipment and experience in report writing.
