Overview:
As a Radiology Technologist, you will proficiently operate in multiple imaging modalities within a healthcare setting.

This role encompasses various techniques including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography, ensuring the delivery of precise diagnostic imaging and potential interventional procedures.

Your responsibilities will include executing a range of technical tasks that necessitate independent decision-making and accountability for specific areas or procedures as designated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the standards of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Exhibit proficiency in a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities.
  • After completing imaging procedures, ensure accurate programming of the computer system to confirm the proper storage of exam data.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize imaging tasks throughout the workday to maintain high-quality patient care.
  • Guarantee accurate coding and entry of all charges into the billing system.
  • Demonstrate competency with diverse patient age groups to ensure appropriate completion of imaging studies.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards set forth by regulatory agencies and the organization.
  • Conduct all duties with respect for patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Embrace and exemplify the core values of our organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
A.

Education/Skills: Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program or an equivalent qualification is required. ARRT certification or equivalent is necessary based on the scope of practice.

Must be registered or eligible for registration in a secondary modality and fulfill registration requirements within two years of starting.

B.

Experience: A minimum of one year in a clinical or hospital environment is preferred. Three years of experience in an imaging setting is highly desirable.

C.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: Must be registered with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) and possess current state licensure. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
