Position Overview: The Marketing Pursuits Specialist plays a crucial role in steering and supporting Swinerton's initiatives throughout various stages of project pursuits. This includes crafting compelling, strategic, and professional materials that bolster qualifications packages, proposals, and client presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster collaborative relationships with local and national marketing teams, regional and division managers, and corporate resources to enhance pursuit efforts.
- Lead and assist in new project pursuits, encompassing project management, content creation, editing, formatting, and production.
- Collaborate with pursuit team members and leadership to develop pre-positioning materials that elevate Swinerton's profile as a potential partner.
- Analyze formal RFQ/P requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Work with the pursuit team lead to establish and manage pursuit schedules effectively.
- Develop presentation materials for client interviews, including strategy formulation, content development, and rehearsal coordination.
- Create additional marketing collateral such as brochures, qualification packages, team resumes, and case studies that showcase Swinerton's expertise.
- Engage with vendors as necessary for production needs.
- Provide peer reviews for project pursuits to uphold high-quality standards and compliance with marketing guidelines.
- Oversee post-proposal activities, including content analysis and client feedback sessions.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data across all opportunity stages in the Cosential system.
- Commit to national and corporate initiatives to promote consistency and efficiency in marketing practices.
- Support national pursuits as a member of Swinerton's One Proposal Team when required.
Qualifications:
- Strong commitment to internal client satisfaction and collaborative problem-solving.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality proposals and marketing materials.
- Dedication to continuous improvement and process enhancement.
- Ability to develop business literacy regarding Swinerton's operations and strategic initiatives.
- Knowledge of best practices in professional services marketing, including business development and proposal management.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on content development.
- Familiarity with the construction, architecture, or engineering sectors is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office; experience with CRM software is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience in marketing, communications, or proposal management.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
