Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Per Diem Pharmacist to join our team at KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. As a Per Diem Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and adhere to the Noble Standard of Practice to ensure the highest quality healthcare service to our customers.
  • Assist in the training and development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, and interpreting organizational policies.
  • Relies on experience and professional judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
  • Support the fulfillment of specialty or niche distribution products.
  • Obtain and maintain licensure in other states as required.
  • Provide support and guidance to patients as part of our Clinical Management Programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all Noble policies and procedures.
  • Participate in after-hours/on-call rotation as required.
  • Perform quality assurance steps to ensure accurate prescriptions are dispensed and report dispensing incidents in a timely manner.
  • Follow all State and Federal guidelines governing the practice of Pharmacy.
  • Monitor claims for proper reimbursement and collection of funds due.
  • Manage and balance pharmacy inventory to ensure maximum turns while remaining in-stock for customer needs.
  • Oversee the transmitting, processing, and receiving of orders to and from the Noble Warehouse and additional suppliers as needed.
  • Ensure prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations pertaining to Mississippi, New York State, and other states where prescriptions are dispensed and delivered.
  • Ensure in-store pharmacy technology is being used to its fullest potential to maximize return on investment.
  • Exhibit outstanding customer service and ensure all employees follow loss prevention policies.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the pharmacy department to ensure a clean and professional environment.
  • Maintain professional relationships with doctors and others in the health service professions.
  • Maintain awareness of developments in the Pharmacy and Health Care Services fields and integrate them into practice.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding patient information.
  • Facilitate communication between professional staff and Noble personnel.
  • Assist in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines and operating the pharmacy within those guidelines.
  • Assist in the training and development of all pharmacy department personnel.
  • Interface with various auditors and outside agencies as needed.
  • Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
Requirements

Education:

  • Minimum: BS degree in Pharmacy.
  • Preferred: PharmD degree in Pharmacy.

Special Conditions of Employment:

  • Drug test.
  • Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring.
  • Any additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position.

Compensation:

$ per hour.

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
